Maja has obtained Master and PhD degree in pharmacy at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She is currently employed at the same faculty as teaching assistant. Her focus of interest is development of colloidal drug carrier systems as well as the application of analytical techniques in environmental analysis.

Maja completed one month secondment at the Chios Mastiha Growers Association (CMGA), Chios, Greece where was introduced to the complete production sheme of Mastiha capsules. During her stay Maja took part in the development and optimization of the production process of the adequate verum and placebo Mastiha capsules.
